As a result they can't be assigned -or a specific type specified- to your squad, which leads to bow/crossbow-squads running into battle without ammunition. Limiting the type of bolts near your barracks might also allow for some level of type-control around ammunition that will be picked up for training.Īmmunition (including bolts) don't show up in the squads equipment assignment window. Solution: This problem might be circumvented by having the squad train before sending them to battle, as they will pick up bolts to train. -Assigning specific ammunition to squads is not possible currently.-Crossbow/bow squads are hitting things with their bows instead of shooting with them.Solution: Use the top right cog-icon to open the menu, go to 'Settings', then 'Video' and change 'Maximum Interface width' to the highest number possible (3240) -Population Smilies on the top of the screen don't show.-Texts are cut of/displayed outside textboxes.-User Interface/Menus don't display correctly.Digging a stairway from above to make the construction space not-blocked does not work either, because an dug stairway also blocks construction designation for stairs going up. Usually you would create a construction Up-Down-stair to replace the downstair to fix this, the Steam version does not allow this however since the kind of stair is choosen automatically and you cannot select the tile above the top of the stair because 'the location is blocked' for constructions by the wall above. Since the game creates a Downstair at the top of the stairway, the tile above it is inaccessible to miners once digging is completed. Or build a staircase in a different location instead. To extend an existing stairway underground further upwards you need to mine out the spaces above it, then you can use constructions to build the rest of the staircase in the now 'free' spaces above. -Digging upwards from the top of an existing stairway is not possible.Since there's been a few threads about bugs recently I decided to create this thread to keep track of known bugs and make it easier for new players to circumvent them for a better playing experience.
